Aglarond

Aglarond is the northern side of a peninsula on the Sea of Fallen Stars. The very tip of the peninsula is called Altumbel (see inset), and is nominally considered part of Aglarond by everyone except Altumbel's inhabitants. South of the Yuirwood forest is Wizards Reach, a thin strip of rocky beach whose posession is in constant dispute. Thay is on the eastern border, at the entrance to the peninsula, and until the last few years Aglarond has been constantly fighting off Thayan invasion attempts. Recently Thay has tired of the constant war and instead turned to trade.
